Brad Pitt’s Black & White Portraits of Angelina Jolie
Posted by CNE Photography in My 5 Faves, Personal on May 1, 2013
I find it very Interesting how celebrities also have a passion for photography.
Brad Pitt is a photography enthusiast who was commissioned by W Magazine a few years ago to capture Angelina Jolie from a different angle.
He shot everything in Kodak Tech Pan Film, a very rare film that hasn’t been made for years.
The photos are lovely. I think they show a softness of Angelina that we don’t normally see ~ very appropriate for this month.

Let’s talk… self esteem
Posted by CNE Photography in Personal, Portrait Couture, Tips on April 23, 2013
Our Genre can experience a challenging time recognizing the need for self love. I love this video is a great example of how self esteem plays an impact on our lives.
I think every woman from 10-100 should watch this video. It should be shown in schools, churches,… anywhere and everywhere! We all need to learn to see the REAL ourselves and just be the beautiful person God created!
As a Woman I think that every Woman should have a Beautiful Glamour Portrait no matter your age, your weight, your size. Glamour Sessions are so much more than just a photo shoot… A portrait session can help you to rediscover your true beauty, it’s a journey, improves self esteem and body image, It really, really can help you to discover that you’re more beautiful than you think. Please take a chance on learning to love yourself, give yourself more reasons to be happy about who you are.

Spring?
Posted by CNE Photography in Personal on March 25, 2013
“A Robin said: The Spring will never come,
And I shall never care to build again.
A Rosebush said: These frosts are wearisome,
My sap will never stir for sun or rain.
The half Moon said: These nights are fogged and slow,
I neither care to wax nor care to wane.
The Ocean said: I thirst from long ago,
Because earth’s rivers cannot fill the main. —
When Springtime came, red Robin built a nest,
And trilled a lover’s song in sheer delight.
Grey hoarfrost vanished, and the Rose with might
Clothed her in leaves and buds of crimson core.
The dim Moon brightened. Ocean sunned his crest,
Dimpled his blue, yet thirsted evermore.”

The Oscars were last night. And of course, I was watching.
I want to share my 5 Faves wedding inspiration dresses:

“Best Supporting Actress nominee Amy Adams in an Oscar De La Renta strapless lavender gown with full ruffled skirt.”

“Zoe Saldana arrived in an Alexis Mabille Couture strapless gown, Neil Lane jewelry and Roger Vivier sandals.”

“Jennifer Lawrence in a drop-waisted Dior Couture gown – the Best Actress winner is currently the face of the fashion house’s Miss Dior campaign – with Chopard jewellery and a Roger Vivier clutch.”

“Amanda Seyfried in an Alexander McQueen lilac organza embroidered gown with train and key-hole neckline.”

“Kristen Stewart in a Reem Acra Couture pale blush strapless couture hand-beaded gown.”
Which of these Oscars dresses would you wear as a wedding dress? Were there any colorful dresses you’d like in white for your wedding day?
Please share your thoughts in the comments!

Love is in the air… and the snow too

“A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.”
-Mignon McLaughlin
Hello everyone! It was another chilly, snowy day here in Indiana. I started to hate the cold (10 F feels like -4 F !!!), but we want to celebrate the gorgeous white of winter. My hubby and I braved the cold for a mini shoot. I love this one I have to share here. February is our month, when we started dating just a few years ago, so glad I met him, and dated him and married him.
Tips for a Successful engagement Session ~ Indianapolis ~ Fishers Indiana Engagement Photographer
Posted by CNE Photography in ENGAGEMENT on January 24, 2013
Engagement sessions are a fantastic way for us all to get to know each other as well as for you to get comfortable in front of the camera. You don’t want your first time in front of our big ol’ lenses to be on your wedding day. That day is stressful enough. If you’re at all camera shy or don’t think you take good pictures, an engagement session is essential. I will show you how to pose (or non-pose) and relax on camera.
In the meantime I thought it would be good to share some tips to make your engagement photos look great.
1. Location
There’s no doubt that location plays an important role when it comes to engagement photos. The most important thing is that you choose a location that is very significant to you and your partner. It could be the place you first met her (him), or where you give him the first kiss… any other place that is very important to the both of you. This will allow you to relax a little more.
2. What to Wear
Simply, look hot! The more personality you put into your attire, the more personality will show up in your
photos. Exploit who you are in the extreme. Don’t be afraid to dress up.
But don’t overlook this key detail.
3. Props
Bring to the photo session something along that express who you are as a couple never hurts. Your dog, , books, hats, skateboards, or whatever you share with your honey are all things that will add to your photos.
4. Time of Day
A lot of people also ask me when the best time to shoot is. Although I can shoot any time of the day, the best time is late in the day when the sun gets lower in the sky. The light gets softer and more golden. Besides aren’t evenings more romantic?
5. Get Comfy
One of the most important things you can do is get comfortable in front of the camera. A lot of people have never been photographed before, and the thought of someone firing away with a big camera in their face is terrifying. Although I’ll do everything I can to put you at ease, the simplest way to relax is to focus on your loved one, not me. Forget me.
I guarantee if you do the things above, and immerse yourself in the moment with your loved one, you’ll end up with some beautiful pictures, and an experience that you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
