I Hope you Dance

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens
Promise me that you’ll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I’ve always wanted to photograph a dancer especially a ballerina. There’s something so amazing and beautiful about how they can twist and contort their bodies so gracefully in ways that the rest of us, can only imagine. And so on a beautiful sunny day. For me as a Photographer it’s was like I was dancing too… And I love this song, I know, little old, but I like it, I hope you Dance!

Sweet 15s XVs ~ Quinceañera Itzel

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph Itzel, a beautiful girl, for a very important rite of passage for a young girl: Quinceañera (Sweet 15). The ceremony is value and moral centered. The Quinceanera party It’s gives thanks to God.
A highlight was the moment when our Quinceañera made her entrance and her Mother, together they danced the waltz. She was later joined on the dance floor by her Court of Honor and they all waltzed.

Gaby’s Quinceañera Portrait

I had the opportunity to photograph Gaby, beautiful Young Lady for her Quinceañera Portraits. Gaby has the most beautiful smile. And she loves to pose for the camera! The hard part was having her parents choose what portrait to have on display at the party and for me too… I love this four ;0)
