Tips: how to look perfect for every photo

Ready for your Bride Session? Here some helpful posing tips.
Turn sideways
When standing, angle your body at 45 degrees. This creates a slimmer profile than if you were to face the camera head-on.
Open your eyes
To avoid looking sleepy in every frame, opening your eyes as wide as you can a few seconds before the picture is taken.
Laugh a little
Giggle out loud when your photographer starts snapping (or ask someone to tell a joke)—it will give you a more natural smile.
Use the right flash
“Make sure your photographer is using the correct lighting to eliminate red eye
Lower Your Flowers
Hold your flowers low, just below your belly button. You don’t want to hide your gorgeous gown or a trim waistline behind a large bouquet.

Michelle & Justine’s wedding reception took place at the Walnut Hall at Tanglewood Park, Clemmons NC. The Park was the perfect setting to share their love with their closest friends and family.
In a beautiful moment, they involved their two children making the ceremony about merging their hearts and their family.
It was so beautiful and amazing to have the pastor ask their children if they are committed to this family becoming one..
Thank you Michelle and Justin for allowing me to enjoy & be a small part of your wedding day, hope you had fun re-living some moments of the day through these images.

So I’m very excited to start a new series here on my blog called “Style Guide” that will feature different outfits that I’ve put together to help my clients start thinking a little about color, fashion and how to create a “look” for their sessions. Whether it be for a Glamour Session or an Engagement shoot in a nearby Park or cofee shop, I hope this series will inspire and guide you along in what can often be a daunting process for your session.

year anniversary gift? You can treat
your husband with a boudoir or glamour shoot and prints as your one year anniversary gift
to your husband. I think he will be happy he didn’t get a pair of socks.
If you are interested in the “Real Beauty” concept don’t have to be photographed in lingerie.
In fact, about 1/3 of the women who come to me are interested in cool and sexy clothing.
